Customized BIBs: To receive a customized BIB with your name, please make sure to register at least 15 days before the event date.
Non-Transferable Registration:
Registrations with discounted rates are non-transferable. The registered participants must use the BIB assigned to them.
BIB Expo:
The BIB Expo will take place one day prior to the event at the designated venue. There will be no BIB Expo on the event day.
BIB Collection on Behalf of Others:
If someone is collecting BIBs on behalf of other participants, they must present a consent letter from the registered participants in order to receive the BIB.
No On-Spot Registration:
On-spot registrations will not be available. Participants must register in advance to secure their participation.
BIB Exchange:
Participants are not allowed to exchange their timing BIBs with others. Each BIB is unique and should only be used by the assigned participant. Any participant found wearing another participant's BIB will be disqualified.
Proper Placement of BIB:
Participants must wear their BIB on their chest, ensuring it is visible. Wearing the BIB on the back will result in disqualification from the winner's list.

All event-related updates will be shared via the registered email address.

Use only the application modes suggested on this website to submit your entries.
Please thoroughly go through all relevant information given on the event website and application form prior to submitting your application.
Requests for participation cancellation, and thereby refund, will not be entertained.
The organisers reserves the right to ban participants if they are found abusive and behave rudely with the organisers/volunteers/vendors/third party contractors during the event.
Entries
Only individual entries for Full Marathon, Half Marathonand and Fun Run 5K categories shall be accepted.
Marathon applicants must be 18 years and above as on 8th October 2023
Half Marathon applicants must be 18 years above as on 8th October 2023
Fun Run5K applicants must be 6 years and above as on 8th October 2023
Entry Confirmations
Confirmation of applications received will be subject to Entry Rules & Guidelines given herein. Confirmation of marathon and half marathon applications will also be subject to the Confirmation Criteria.
Post close of registrations, email confirmations will be sent to all the confirmed participants who have given their valid email id in the application form. Physical acceptance letters will be posted ONLY to those applicants who have not given their email address in the application form. If you do not receive any intimation from the race office, please email us at support@bengalurumarathon.in.
Application Status
On application being successfully submitted, registrants will receive an email and sms confirming their application with a unique code.
Soon after the entries close, runners will receive an email and sms with their BIB nos and other details.
Those wishing to confirm their application status in the interim can send us an email to support@bengalurumarathon.in.
Running Number Bib Collection
All confirmed participants are required to come to Expo, scheduled from 8th October 2023 in order to collect their running number bibs. No running number will be posted to an individual’s mailing address nor distributed on race day.
It is mandatory for the participant to collect his/her running number bib personally from the Expo. In case of unavoidable circumstances, such runner can send his/her authorized representative to collect running number bib on his/her behalf. Authorized representative must carry with him/her.
Soft Copy of Confirmation Email/SMS with BIB Number details.
Soft Copy of Photo-identity proof (Aadhar card, PAN Card or passport) of the confirmed participant.
Race Regulation
Online registration is closed . No more changes for category /deferring from 8 September 2023. We will not consider any means of communication for the same.
You are to participate only in the race category for which you had applied and for which your entry has been confirmed. Your entry and running number bib and/or bib tag is not transferable to any other person under any circumstance.
Runners found to have interchanged their running number bib and/or bib tag with another individual, will be disqualified from the Event and shall not be allowed to apply or participate in the 2018 edition of any of our events across the nation.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify or exclude any person from the event/competition who gives incorrect personal data/details on the entry form, who has been banned from competition under IAAF jurisdiction, or who is suspected of having taken banned substances. No refund of entry fee will be made.
No result or certificate will be given to runners who do not start their run at the respective start times of the race categories they have been confirmed in.
Please note if you tamper with the bib tag in any way or remove/exchange it with another runner, you won't be able to get an official finish time and thereby the official timing certificate recording your finish times. No Chip, No Timing, No Prize Money.
No wheeled vehicles are allowed on the course. Anyone bringing wheeled vehicles will be disqualified from the race and asked to leave the course.
Participants are not allowed to run with pets, unregistered runners or babies/children who are under aged for the designated category.
Participants will not be allowed to enter the event venue with gas balloons.
In order to ensure the re-opening of roads by 10.30 a.m. (Or as decided by the event organisers), the organizers will designate cut off times at specified locations. Runners failing to reach these specific locations within times specified must stick to the footpath in order to complete your race.
Only those confirmed participants wearing the current Bengaluru Marathon 2023 running number bibs will be allowed on the route. Any person found wearing the incorrect bib or no bib will be disqualified and removed by security.
Further, every runner must wear his/her running number bib on the front of the vest. Any mutilation, fold, alteration or damage to the bib will amount to disqualification of the runner from the Event.
Organizers reserve the right to stop any participant from participating who is found medically unfit to continue in the opinion of the medical personnel.
Baggage counters are available only for participants of the Full Marathon and Half Marathon categories.For security reasons, participants are requested to come, as far as possible, without any baggage. It is strongly recommended that you do not leave valuables like mobile phone, camera, jewellery, watch, electronic gadgets, etc. in the bag stored. Organizers are not responsible for any loss or baggage and belongings.
Participants are requested to cooperate with the police and security personnel deputed at the event venues and on route. Participants/supporters are liable to random checking on race day this is for your own security.
Photographs taken of runners during any Bengaluru Marathon event organised prior to and on race day can be used for the purpose of promoting the event.
Winners Medal
All age category winners will be announced on our website and on our Social Media Channels, 3 working days post the event. They will be provided with their winner’s medals & prize money 45 days from the finish of the event.
Finishers Medal
All runners of the Marathon, Half Marathon and 5k Run category will get a Finisher's Medal post their run. Medals will not be posted to individual runners.
Merit Certificate
On the Race Day, victory ceremony will be held only to top 3 overall Elite/fastest finishers in men & women category.
Timing Certificate
Timing certificates of marathon finishers will be available for download from the event website within 30 days from race day.
The Pledge
All registered participants will take the pledge of honour - "I promise that we shall take part in this run, respecting and abiding by the rules that govern them, in the true spirit of sportsmanship."
